Eligibility & Rules

‍

Wrestlers MUST enter their USA Wrestling Membership number when they register online. Wrestlers that do not have valid USA Wrestling Membership numbers will not be allowed to register.

USA WRESTLING LEADER MEMBERSHIP

All coaches that wish to receive the discounted admission entry to gain access to the hospitality room and the competition floor to coach athletes must have a current USA Wrestling Leader Membership Card. All USA Wrestling Leader Membership Cards MUST be attained prior to the event, due to mandatory background checking.

PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 30 DAYS FOR COMPLETION OF USA WRESTLING LEADER MEMBERSHIP/BACKGROUND CHECK PROCESS.

If you don't have a USA Wrestling Leader Membership Card you can purchase a FLOOR PASS to gain access to the competition floor, but won't have access to the hospitality room.

Weigh Ins/ Medical

• Weight for all divisions, Reference weight divisions
• Athlete must weigh-in wearing an unaltered competition singlet
• If you miss weight, athletes are automatically moved up without penalty
• Wrestlers must have a current USA Wrestling card to scan at the scale in order for officials to input the correct weight.
• No Weight reduction practices shall be allowed once weigh-ins begin.
• Athletes must be present in a COMPETITION SINGLET and must submit to a skin disease screening prior to weigh-in. The chief medical officer has full authority without appeal in determining the eligibility of an athlete to compete.

INJURIES

In the event of injury or illness, NO contestant will be permitted to continue the competition without approval of the Chief Medical Officer, whose decision is final and not subject to appeal.

WEIGH-INS RULES & SCHEDULE

Each athlete will be allowed two consecutive attempts to make weight and may not leave the weigh-in area. The second attempt will take place at the LAST CHANCE SCALE in the weigh-in area. All wrestlers must be dressed in a COMPETITION SINGLET for weigh-ins. Reference Divisions for allowance.

All weigh-ins will be at RAWHIDE EVENT CENTER unless otherwise noted.

EARLY WEIGH-IN - 10/03/24 & 10/04/24

Secure your Early Weigh-In pass at a discounted rate of $16 by purchasing it through the Event Ticket Link before 9/15/24 DEADLINE. Onsite passes will be available for $20 (CASH ONLY).

Tournament Rules

National Federation of State High School Association scoring rules with USA Wrestling modifications will govern the competition. These USA Wrestling modifications include the following:

• New TakeDown Rule in a Effect
• New One Point Of Contact = INBOUNDS
• New Technical Fall Criteria
• New Near-Fall Criteria
• Headgear is not MANDATORY for all competitors but recommended.
• Mouth guards are not required for wrestlers (even wrestlers with braces).
• Rest time in between matches is a minimum of 15 minutes.

Awards

Are you ready to prove it? This year’s Who’s Unstoppable Preseason National Wrestling Tournament is bigger and better than ever, with cash awards on the line!

Individual

• Top Six (6) place winners in each weight class will receive custom medals.

‍

Outstanding Wrestler

• There will also be six (6) Outstanding Wrestler awards for each of the standard USA Wrestling divisions for Elementary (12U & under), Boys & Girls 14U & 18U, totaling six (6). Outstanding Wrestler is determined by the tournament committee and based on a combination of bracket size, # of seeded wrestlers in the bracket, and win types (falls, tech falls, majors, points given up, etc.)

The Robles Unstoppable Foundation Scholarship

• The Robles Unstoppable Foundation exists to assist underserved 9th-12th grade student-athletes that are in need of guidance, as well as resources to fund their academic and athletic endeavors.
• Two (2) VARSITY student-athletes (Boy & Girl) will be eligible to receive a $500 scholarship.

First Place Team Awards:

• Boys High School: $1000 VISA Gift Card

• Boys Middle School: $500 VISA Gift Card

Note: The highest single scorer in each weight class will contribute to the team title. Every point counts, every match matters, and your team’s destiny is in your hands.

Medals will be awarded for 1st through 6th place, and six individuals in the Boys & Girls divisions will win the Outstanding Wrestling Award—a custom belt valued at $600—in the Elementary, Middle School, and High School divisions. Additionally, Tournament Champions will receive a Custom Wall Bracket to keep and display their Who’s Unstoppable victory.
